Typically positive postural changes occur following
NUCCA upper cervical adjustments.
The average postural shift that patients of Dr. Scholten
experienced in 2003 was an 83% postural improvement in 3 or 4 days following
the original adjustment. The most consistent shift that is made following
a NUCCA upper cervical adjustment is a decrease in postural distortion.
This postural improvement is critical to the healing process as it allows
the newly available energy that would have otherwise been spent fighting
gravity to be harnessed by the body to do the healing necessary to create
a greater level of comfort that people with chronic pain so desperately
seek.
